National Membership

The National Chrysler Products Club was founded in 1979. Its Mission: l.the preservation, restoration, exhibition, and use of Chrysler related cars and trucks and its early predecessors, 2. the collection, recording and preservation of Chrysler product historical data, 3. The dissemination to the public of the story of Chrysler Corporation's contributions to the automotive industry, and 4. The promotion of good fellowship and cooperation among members.

Our Region was chartered in 1997 and reflects the mission of the National Club and implements it on a local level.

WHILE MANY CLUBS FOCUS ON AN ERA, BODY TYPE, ENGINE , OR SINGLE MARQUE, OUR NATIONAL CLUB (along with the W.P.C. Club, and a few others) AND OUR NEW JERSEY SHORE REGION ARE UNIQUE AMONG "MOPAR" CLUBS IN THAT WE CELEBRATE THE ENTIRE PICTURE OF CHRYSLER PRODUCT CARS AND TRUCKS FROM THE OLDEST TO THE NEWEST. Proudly, our National Roster reflects this variety of members' vehicles. PERHAPS WITH YOUR MOPAR YOU CAN ADD YET ANOTHER PIECE OF HISTORY TO THE "PUZZLE" OF OUR CHRYSLER PRODUCT VEHICLES!

Our New Jersey Shore Region meets the FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH FROM APRIL THROUGH OCTOBER IN
THE GROVE RESTAURANT AT HOWARD JOHNSON HOTEL, 955 HOOPER AVE. NEAR ROUTE 37, TOMS RIVER NJ 08753. Most members arrive by 6:30PM and have dinner or drinks or dessert. The evening's special activity begins around 7:45PM. When weather permits members bring their collector cars. IN AUGUST, HOWEVER, WE HOST AN EVENING CAR SHOW AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON HOTEL  ETC.

We take part in several activities throughout the year. In December, we have a Sunday Christmas Luncheon as well as another Lunch Social in March with a surprise Cruise destination. In May, we participate in the Founders Day Parade. In July, there is our National Meet held at various locations throughout the Northeastern United States. Labor Day Weekend we have a Car Display at Ocean County Historical Society's Antique Faire. Members also plan get-togethers at various Cruise Nights and Shows during the season.

WE HAVE BECOME A CLUB OF PEOPLE!!!!!!!! WE ENJOY EACH OTHERS COMPANY AND WE CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER. Want to know about Chrysler Vehicles????? WE are the experts! Each of our
members has expertise in some aspect of our hobby....from history, mechanical, technical, preservation, research, statistical, restoration, literature etc. When you put us together in one room...The past becomes the present! WOW! And of course, every member has their favorite era. We learn from each other as their knowledge and enthusiasm rubs off on the rest of us...Truly a fun way to learn about the COMPLETE picture of CHRYSLER CORPORATION!
